Beginner Piano Lesson – 5 Tips To Help Towards Teaching Yourself Piano

The common elief is that playing the piano is complex and difficult; in fact it is quite the opposite. However it does depend on who teaches you and what technique they use, elieve me there is an easy way to learn to play the piano. The most important element is fun. Make it a fun thing to do and go at your own pace; don’t let your expectations run away from you. You will e ale to play favourite songs in no time at all, weather you know all the Techno stuff or not.If you are a eginner to playing the piano, rememer this, take it one step at a time, spend time on each step and make sure you understand what you are learning efore moving on. This article is the forth of a series of seven articles each containing a little music lesson to help you get started and hopefully enale you to teach yourself to play. Check out these articles, you will soon surprise yourself with your musical progress. When you do egin have a positive mind set, really want to do it. Go at your own pace this is not a race. Do not e intimidated y seeing professional musicians that can play amazingly fast. They all started from scratch and slowly. Look at them as your goal; do not elieve that you will never e as good. You can e.If you decide to learn from an online course you will e ale to go over and over your lessons until you fully understand what you need to do. Rememer this is at your own pace. It is always sensile to form a firm foundation of knowledge in anything you do. But don’t e put off y this, don’t put pressure on yourself. As I pointed out earlier you go at your own pace.As for the cost of Piano Lessons, this should not e a prolem as there are many inexpensive online piano courses which offer various ways to pay. In my view online piano courses are a much cheaper than offline lessons. And you learn at home; No pressure, no time limits, all at your pace.Here are a few tips to start you off on your piano lessons. 1. Finger numers; starting with your thum this ecomes finger numer one. The index finger ecomes numer two, the middle finger&nsp; ecomes numer three, then all that’s left is finger numer four and your pinkie is finger numer five. The same numers are used for the left hand, always the thum is numer one and the pinkie numer five. Take note of this as most music courses use this finger numering.2. You can relate these finger numers to Sheet Music. If you sit at your keyoard and locate the two lack keys slightly left of centre and put your right hand thum on the white key right of these lack keys that will e the note E, now hold that position and place your other fingers on every alternate white key right to the little finger. These are the five trele leger lines you will see on sheet music usually rememered as Every Good Boy Deserves Favour; and the spaces in etween your fingers are the spaces in etween the leger lines, usually rememered as F.A.C.E. 3. From the aove information you should e ale to locate the note A from F.A.C.E. Play the Piano notes from this A, to the next A, including the lack keys, they should read as A, B, B, C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G# A, Note the lack notes can e sharps or flats as they lie etween main note keys. So you can see C#, “C sharp” can also e read as D, “D flat” ecause it lies etween C, and D, keys.4. Look at your keyoard as you play from A, go right and play and say every note to the next A; and call the lack notes sharp. Now play from that A, play ack down, play and say this time call the lack notes flat. Keep that in mind maye write it down, ut don’t worry aout it, store this information, it will make sense later on. 5. If you rememer you located two lack keys left of centre of the keyoard. The white key immediately to the left of these two lack keys is the note “C” in fact this C is called the middle C. and is your main reference point. Be sure to note this and rememer it.There you have your 5five tips to egin your musical journey. Plan your piano lessons.
